UDHAM SINGH NAGAR district was a portion of NAINITAL district before came in existence on 29 Sep 1995 as 68th district of Utter Pradesh, now is a part of Kumaun region of state Uttarakhand. Its district headquarter is situated at Rudrapur city. It has 7 blocks as - 1-KHATIMA 2-SITARGANJ 3- RUDRAPUR 4- GADARPUR 5- BAJPUR 6- KASHIPUR 7- JASPUR. DIET Udham Singh Nagar was founded in 2006, is situated in Rudrapur city. It is continuously working to improve quality of education in schools /colleges , as well as promoting all significant national programs for the welfare of society. The focus areas of the institute is - to build excellent teachers for our schools through D.El.Ed. course, in service teachers training, educational researches, application of ICT tools in classroom teaching and promoting all the initiative taken by higher authorities.
